What’s included

Your fixed price covers everything needed for a standard installation. If anything extra is needed, such as a longer pipe run or a condensate pump, we include it in your quote before you agree to anything.

  • A free survey by video call or at your property, to size each room and plan where the units and pipework go.
  • The indoor and outdoor units, chosen for the size of the room and how quiet it needs to be.
  • Standard installation, including the wall bracket, refrigerant pipework, cabling and condensate drain.
  • Neat finishing, with pipework hidden or run in tidy trunking and the wall made good.
  • Commissioning and testing, so the system runs at the right pressures and settings from day one.
  • A walk-through of the controls and app, plus help registering your manufacturer warranty.

Which system is right for you?

Most homes start with a wall-mounted system. We recommend the right type at your survey. Compare all types of air conditioning.

Wall-mounted

One indoor unit high on the wall, linked to an outdoor unit. The most popular choice for bedrooms, living rooms and home offices.

From £1,595

Multi-room

Two to five indoor units running from a single outdoor unit, so the outside of your home stays tidy.

From £2,995 for two rooms

Ducted

Hidden in the ceiling or loft, with only small grilles in each room. Best during a renovation or new build.

Quoted after survey

Ceiling cassette

Set into a suspended ceiling and spreading air four ways. Ideal for offices, shops and restaurants.

Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric

We install systems from Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric, two of the most trusted names in air conditioning. Both make quiet, efficient units with app control, and both offer manufacturer warranties of up to 7 years when the system is registered and serviced each year.

At your survey we recommend a range based on the room, how quiet it needs to be and your budget, and explain the difference in plain terms.

Book before May

More than half of the year’s searches for air conditioning installers happen between May and July, and installation dates fill up quickly. Booking in winter or spring means a shorter wait and a cool home from the first warm day.

Installation questions

Can’t see your question? Call, WhatsApp or email us and we’ll reply within 1 hour.

How much does air conditioning installation cost?

A single-room wall-mounted system starts from £1,595 fitted, and a two-room system on one outdoor unit starts from £2,995. We confirm a fixed price after your free survey.

How long does installation take?

Most single-room systems are fitted in a day. Multi-room systems usually take two to three days, depending on the number of rooms and the pipe routes.

Do I need planning permission?

Usually not for a house in England. Since May 2025, air-to-air systems count as permitted development, within limits on the size of the outdoor unit and its noise. Flats, listed buildings and some conservation areas need extra checks, which we cover at your survey.

Will there be much mess?

Very little. Most installs need one hole of about 65mm through an outside wall for the pipes. Engineers use dust sheets, make good the wall and take all packaging away.

Can the same system heat my home?

Yes. Modern split systems are air-to-air heat pumps, so the same unit warms the room in winter.

Which brands do you install?

We fit Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric systems, two of the most established brands in the UK, and recommend the right range for each room at your survey.
